In a fierce effort to discredit Sarah Palin as much as possible the media is digging through every record possible. Today the Washington Post is reporting that Sarah Palin charge the state of Alaska for nights she actually spent at home.

An analysis of travel statements filed by the governor, now John McCain’s Republican running mate, shows she claimed the per diem allowance on 312 occasions when she was home in Wasilla and that she billed taxpayers $43,490 for travel by her husband and children.

Responding to this new Sarah Palin Scandal, her spokeswoman pointed out that she had spent far less than her predecessor Frank Murkowski who had spent $463,00 in travel each year.
